Trouble with Adobe Reader

Hi,
after having my all new X30 (Big) for a few days now, I have a problem with Adobe Reader 2.0:
I installed it, but I cannot load PDF Files onto my Axim, ActiveSync keeps showing the "syncing Files" message without end, and all I can do is hittig CRTL-ALT-DEL to stop ActiveSync manually.

So far I reinstalled both Adobe Reader and Active Sync and also tried several soft resets, but nothing of this helped.

Can anybody help me?

Ah, almost forgot: While I first tried to install Adobe Reader, my Desktops system crashed when he was just finished with the installation... could this have anythig to do with it?

If memory serves you have to register both the desktop and ppc versions for this to work. I do remember that it took me hours to figure out and I still can't download ebooks using that format.

I installed Adobe v1 from my Dell disk and then upgraded to V2. It seemed to work without too much of a problem.

Yea transfering the pdf directly through explorer works great. You will probably get a message that the axim had to "reformat" some of the file and may not be the same as the original, but just say ok and accept. None of my pdf files were any different once transferred onto my storage card.

It works!

Got it working :approve:
Took me a hard reset, and some work with regedit on my PC to remove all remains of former Adobe Reader for PPC installations, but now it works!

Now all I gotta do is turn some Gutenberg Project Books into PDF, and find out wether to use my old Palm M100 or the Axim as my primary eBook reader: Axim's got more memory and better display, but the Palm's batterys hold up MUCH longer.
