Star Trek...
Personally, I am reading a set of Star Trek books right now. I am reading Shockwave, but am reading the Time to... series, as well.
The books are a good escape from reality, and I like the low cost.
Usually, I am reading the classics, everything from Wuthering Heights to Princess of Mars. Memoware (http://www.memoware.com) has a nice selection of free books.
I wish I was telling you I was reading something much more soul-moving or some educational non-fiction, but truth is I like to unwind with a good story that I can just enjoy and don't have to be too cerebral with.
Best of luck!!

I haven't read Da Vinci Code yet. Do you recommend I read that first before Angels and Demons?

Both. I'm interested in what ebooks people read, paid for or free.

Current Reading
If you liked William Gibson's Neuromancer titles, then you should like two titles by Richard K. Morgan (
Altered Carbon &
Broken Angels ).
I highly recommend all of Michael Connelly's "
Harry Bosch " detective novels.

Another Baen webscriber here. I'm currently reading. Berserker Death by Fred Saberhagen. I'd recommend An Oblique Approach by David Drake and the other free books in the Belisarius series available at
The Baen Free Library .

Basil: The Davinci Code is actually the sequel to Angels and Demons, but you can read them in any order without getting lost. They're both great.
