Question Corrupt file?

I downloaded a prc file from eReader (via PocketGear's site), then copied it to my Axim and tried to open it in MobiPocket. MobiPocket sees the file, and recognizes it as an e-book, but when I try to open it I'm told "File corrupted." I already re-downloaded the file in case something weird had happened during the first download, but get the same message. Any ideas? The eReader folks haven't bothered to answer my e-mails yet. Thanks.

I had the same problem, and I think MibiPocket is not 100% compatible with eReader's .prc format. Another reason why I'm sticking with eReaderPro, although I liked the way MibiPocket looked and the UI.

Thanks for the feedback. By the way, I never did hear back from the eReader folks... some support there.

Update: I finally got a response from eReader tech support today-- 16 days after submitting my question.

They confirmed that their books won't work with MobiPocket.

Glad I wasn't in a hurry for an answer....

why mibipocket, isilo, and uBook claim pdb support, when they're not?

That leads to my question that why folks of isilo, mibipocket, and uBook claim they support .pdb, and .prc? I've wasted my time downloading those and finding out they lied.
