I've got the latest MS Reader 2.4. It's running on X50v (with no special VGA tweaks, and I get the problem with or without Cleartype).

It looks pretty much like the version that came with the Axim, whatever that was, except that it seems to have stopped the occasional ugly first line on a page, slightly the wrong font and justification.

But the program displays digits "3" and "4" instead of forward and backward arrows either side of the page number. Is this a known Microsoft/Dell feature? Is it fixable? Are ther other problems that I haven't yet found?

I have the same problem on my X30.. Anyone else has a solution?

I had the same problem. I did a reinstall and it fixed it, go figure.

I seem to recall that problem occurring when you install MS Reader to built-in storage or to a storage card. Did you try installing it in the main memory?

I know this is kinda late. The problem is font related. Search for "bkdings.ttf" and move it to the widndows folder. I had the same problem with Reader and MemMaid and both were fixed this way.

Thanks for the tip. I had MSReader install on my SD card.. moved bkdings.ttf off the card to windows/fonts works now. Thanks again.

This will happen no matter where you install Reader if you don't soft reset after installation.
That's when the fonts get installed.
