know of any download rental services cheap?
I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this question.

I have been searching for an audio book download rental service for cheap. The ones I have found are mostly of the NetFlix variety (you pay them a monthly fee to have them mail audio books on cd). And they are all in the $19.95 per month range. I would rather have an audio book versus ebook since my job requires a lot of driving and I'd be able to getting my reading in a lot more often as the miles tick by.

What I really want is to be able to rent audio books via download.

The other problem I see is the sites I have found want to charge the same price ($19.95 per month) as if they are mailing them to you even though you are downloading them electronically. I don't mind paying a fee but to have to pay the same fee for a physical transaction doesn't make good economic sense to me. I'm thinking there must be (or should be) a company out there taking advantage of high speed internet to deliver the service and skipping the mail alltogether thereby being able to offer a lower price per month for the service.

My library will let me download audio books (like borrowing a physical book) for free but their selection isn't the most up to date or extensive and is very geared to fiction (not that I have anything against fiction but I was looking for a broader selection).

Anybody found a service on-line like the one I'm searching for?
