Genesis Plus Port

Not sure if this was posted yet, but n0p ported a version of Genesis Plus and so far its running decently on my x50v, but thats without using the GAPI hack. The emulator doesnt display correctly when using the hack.

Anyone think they could implement some GAPI compatibility? I've asked him in the past but he can't since he does not have an x50v. I'm sure it would fly if we could get it to display correctly...

wish it had more options and portrait mode should run smoother. Hope somone start's playing with it's source.

Yeah...I bet with very little tweaking it would run like a dream on the x50v....

Well, the site is finally back, along with a new version of GenPP.

This version is 10x better then the previous, as it supports the GAPI tweak. After messing with some settings, Sonic 2 now runs almost perfect with very good sound emulation. Definetely a must get!

I was starting to think it was impossible to emulate Genesis on Windows Mobile.

I remember some games for the Genesis that were very fun and acclaimed such as Streets of Rage 3 and Gunstar Heroes.

Yea, it runs pretty well on my x51v, and the onscreen buttons are very functional.

Just tested it with Streets of Rage 3 and it is VERY IMPRESSIVE for something thats still in beta stages!

Just played Road Rash on it - the music was a bit rough but otherwise it was great! Time to dust off my ROM collection.

WOW!! This emulator works perfectly.. This is the first gen emulator that can run Shining Force.. all the others crashed on the save screen..

If you haven't tried this game yet, do so.. it's the grand daddy of all tactical RPG's..
