Hi!

PocketCultMAME 0.5wip is available to download from pocketcult.com. This release is a "work in progress" preview and it's far to be totally finished, it's slow and many games may fail, but may result interesting for those people that want to know more details about the next version of PocketCultMAME.

What are the new features in 0.5wip?

0.5WIP is still in development and it's a bit far to be completed, but it's totally usable and playable for most games.

The main new features are: the number of games supported (up to 2000 games, but some of them are not working for WM2003 users and only work using WM5) since this time is totally based on MAME 0.36, including functions like the onscreen menu, option to take snapshots, volume and brightness control.. user defined gestures recognition for most options, GUI layout (reduced to portrait view in QVGA and VGA devices for this release), better emulation of some games emulated in previous version...

In the other hand, as I explained before, it's in full development and there are a lot of work to do. This release is VERY slow, some games don't work using Windows Mobile 2003 and some others simply don't start using any windows...

There are many features and known problems not listed here, it's better to download it and try for yourself

When I load a ROM it appears the disclaimer who say me to type "OK"...

the question... how I type OK or disable that disclaimer????

Use the directional Pad (some combination, I guess "left" + "right" or something, I always forget about the combo and usually just press them all ")

This is a fix that solves some issues with memory management and allows to allocate enought memory to run most NeoGeo games, does not includes more enhacements. I hope to release PocketCultMAME 0.4b with some bugfixes soon that will include also this fix.

mcastrillo just wanted to say a big thank you for your emulator!,the only problem i have is that my roms are 82 version i think and ive used the dat file to change them to 0.36 but a fair few dont work.I was stiil happy to see robocop playing that borught back some memorys as a kid!
