PocketSNES isn't working ; need help!

I recently picked up a Dell X51v, and everything seems to be running just fine - except PocketSNES. I've tried the optimized version from another thread, and each time I attempt to load a game it will simply go to full-screen mode of the title screen and the game never appears. The system isn't locked up exactly, since clicking on the link will take me to the PocketSNES homepage.

This is a similiar problem I'm having in a few applications, and honestly I'd just figure it's outright incompatible; except for the fact I've heard several people on X51vs claiming it runs fine or simply runs with a low FPS. Not what I'm seeing.

This is also occurs with Pocket Genesis, too, though other Genesis emulators seem to work. Any help would be vastly appreciated!

Problems like this can be caused by not having enough memory. Emulators often reserve enough memory for a cartridge to load as soon as the emulator is started. If there is not enough room the program may begin to crash. Try going into Settings>>System>>Memory>>Running Programs and closing everything. Then go into the emulator. If you have already installed many programs, your memory could be too filled. Try deleting programs or moving them to a SD or MICRO Drive.

Another problem could be a glitchy ROM. Test it using a PC emulator.

Of course, I do not condone the use of ROMs if you do not own the original game as this is illegal. I believe current laws permit you to use a ROM for 24 hours if you do not own an original game.

I had the same problem but I found out that I was using the wrong version. This one worked for me

I will test it but I got the bug, too with all PocketSNES versions up to now (games simply freeze the program).
This has nothing to do with ROMs or free RAM cause I tested several stuff.

Only thing it could be is either the code or my GAPI (GAPI Tweak doesn't run properly / newest GAPI doesn't run properly on my device, PocketQuake doesn't work no matter what or which version I try etc.)

However, SNES9x(PPC) works good with the same PDA under the same conditions (but has no 2700g support).

Edit: The x50v/x51v version from above doesn't work on my fresh (hard-reseted) device with over 35 MB RAM free. There is another thing that pops up in my mind, it is that I use the German A02 ROM (there is no newer one here). I ask myself which ROM the others with the same problem(s) use.

Apparently the version available for download in this thread worked for me, although I had freezing on both builds 201(a different version that actually showed the PocketSNES logo) and 202. My Axim uses the English A12 ROM.
