Any SNES, NES, Gameboy Emulators that work in WM5?
I just upgraded to WM5 from WM 2003 SE with my Axim x50v and was pleasantly surprised to see that Genesis Plus and PocketCult MAME work fine in the newer OS.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said for my NES and SNES emulators. I used PocketNester in WM 2003, and really liked it. But now in WM5 it crashes after using it for a little while and the virtual pad (which I use for A and B) shows up as scrambled.

In 2003 SE the only emulator for SNES that gave me playable framerates and sound was EmuLamer's special "Bleeding Edge" version of PocketSNES. But that doesn't even pretend to work in WM5 (it freezes up as soon as you load a rom). Is there a decent replacement in WM5 with a x50v?

While I am asking, I was wondering if there is a good emulator that will run normal/old gameboy games well in wm5?

Thanks!

Did you visit Michu's Emupage?? http://emu.pocketgaming.de
It features all emulators for all systems. I think PocketSNES (it worked on mine updated x50v) and PocketGBA, both have 2700G Support should work without problems on your updated x50v. With NES I can't help you out.

thx 14given

http://emupage.pocketgamer.org/Consoles.html#sudo

There are two SNES emus marked as def. wm5.0 compatible (although I was not able to test this yet).
For NES, check NesterJ4u03 v1.13.20060106 (WM5.0) on the same page.

For GameBoy, check GnuBoySE/03, just click on the arrow on my page and select GameBoy under Handhelds.

Look under the Accelerated threads about SNES emulators that support our graphics accelerators. There are several emulators that support our graphics accelerators now... including Playstation.
