Calling Michu any way I can...
Hello again Michu;
It's Madmatty again. You've answered several questions of mine before, and successfully. I have one more two part question for you. I hope with this question I am not breaking/bending any forum rules, and apologize in advance if I am...
I saw your GT2 videos from the following link;
http://pdai.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9132&page=5
I am very impressed. However I am also DEpressed, because it's so very very smooth on your PDA - I have the axim x51v as well - and on mine, GT1 isn't even nearly as smooth, and GT2 only gets about 5 fps. How the heck did you get it so darn fast and smooth? Are all your games like that?
I am using the latest of everything, including fpsece .96. Except of course the GAPI tweak which I've heard isn't for the x51v. I do have and run many games on it legally; MANY. However none are as smooth as your GT2 demo movie, although they are still playable, ie Twisted Metal.
Second; I have Diablo 1 for the PSX on CD - how the heck can I get it to work? It crashes on the demonic load screen and won't go further. Is the answer on the following links?
http://pdai.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1378
AND
http://pdai.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1378&page=2
Thanks in advance for your time. I know you're super busy helping EVERYONE else ALL THE TIME... and I am already having lots of fun with Twisted Metal and Spiderman etc. on the PDA - but I don't have ANY game that runs as fast as your GT2! Please, please help me understand... and with the movie links for GT2 you provided, you mention a new GPU fix - is that simply included in the fpsece .96 release?
Finally; please check your private messages for my P.S. message - it may indeed be of a great deal of use to you.

I see you found the PM function, too so you should use only this next time as the questions are very specific or write in the official PDAi forum, m'kay?
As I don't wanna get anyone mad at us if we use the games forum here to talk around (maybe when Chris finally finds the time to include that Emulation forum he already agreed on, this is not a problem anymore).

GT2 is fast in video because the newest beta supports it better, this is simply it. The beta is not public yet so you have to wait a bit more =/
On the other hand, it's still not as fast as on the video on my device cause the video was made by the developer who has more possibilites to tweak around then we have and used a different version that might take even longer to be finish.

About Diablo, I tested it myself yesterday, it works with my European PAL version and I also heared that the NTSC works, too.... don't know why it should not on your device. However, Diablo itself lags ingame, I dislike this a lot, maybe some extra look at the game can solve this in the future.

Current work concentrates on such game specific things, e.g. Castlevenia SOTN was made playable and a color bug was fixed ingame, there is also a new option in testing to higher the compatilibity with games that crash on video play and new PocketISO supports better ripping (e.g. audio tracks (.wav) can be ripped and a bug was fixed that caused false video detection)... all these changes cause new bugs, too so it's really hard work.
However, comparing the latest public release, the newest internal beta is way more stable and the changelog got pretty big through new features/bug fixes.

Thank you Michu. I eagerly await the 0.10 release along with many many others now... and I'll have to find a PSX CD of GT2 to buy for sure for it when it arrives.
Sorry for sidestepping any rules.
Just one more question. I can't seem to find/properly use config saving for each game. Are the config files stored somewhere else? Each game only uses the config settings of the last setup no matter what I try.
I can get them to save and the message comes up for each game, by setting up the controls I want, then exiting the game and choosing config -> save, then it says config saved for that game. But it doesn't reload when I play something else then come back. Any ideas? I can't find anyone else on these forums with this problem...
As this is the last question on my mind and everything else about my PDA funtions perfectly, there shouldn't be any more posts from me anymore anyway.
Not that I'll stop visiting, this is the only website I hit every day. Well done everyone.
L8R,

It was reported in the forum and was fixed in newest beta, it's indeed a bug among many others that was caused by the code cleaning process. Don't say it too loud, don't wanna make developers holding back betas even more, they already weren't that amused when I kindy forced them into the X-Mas release cause usually they are perfectionists and try to find such things by themselves. ^^

You work very hard Michu. It's very appreciated.
Something I will say a little loud is that the developers of FPSECE must be working pretty hard too. That's very appreciated also, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that.
