Any news on the upcoming FPSEce 0.10?

Nope, sadly emulation scene is clerly a bit done besides some minor things here and there.
About 0.10, one of the devs can't work on it right now and the other can only work in his free time and struggles with bugs.
So seems there won't be much news unless they finally stop discussing about if certain changes in 0.096er final are good or not and release this as a middle thing. But as the main dev is pretty much offline for weeks, I wouldn't count on that too much.

But good thing is, where there are downtimes, there shall be uptimes, too soon after ^^

Persistant rumors abound of 0.10 release before Christmas, with 1.5 to 3 times speed boost. However anything can happen.
On a side note, investigations into RAM doubling through PPC Techs has led to the conclusion that it would not help a game emulator like FPSEce run any faster. It solely helps multiple apps running simultaneously... I have had trouble getting that answered in the past.
Fortunately, if the rumors prove true, 0.10 will solve that regardless. A 2X speed boost would see my x51v playing PSX games at full console speed. IF and when this happens be sure to donate to FPSEce! What a ton of hard work.

I've been checking the site every week. Thanks for bringing it up. I can't wait to play War Zone at a decent speed. The 3D view slows the game. Sound emulation is the key though. Without sound, it's hard to tell if your units are being attacked. I get cracks and pops and sound voice during gameplay. Still, you can't beat palying your old PSX games on a PDA!

BTW, Michu, could you tell the FPSEce folks to remove the Awards 2007 request (in order to vote for the app) on their hompage? I'm getting a lot of posts every day to make FPSEce the winner in the Awards 2007.
