I've been trying to get n0p's DOSbox to run on my X3i, to get Avalon Hill's Advanced Civilization going, but I've hit two problems.
First, a little niggle - I can't find the hotspot for expanding the keyboard, so I'm left scrolling it. Anyone got a screenshot of where to tap?
Second, AdvCiv won't start, claiming it needs an additional x bytes (where x is 2-3 Mb) of XMS memory. Trouble is, if I increase memsize in dosbox.conf above 4 - even to 5 or 4.1 - running dosbox produces a black band about a centimetre wide across the top of the screen, neatly hiding switcher bar and thus requiring me to soft-reset. Any idea what I need to do to get it working?
