Playstation Emulator?
I heard something a while back about a Sony Playstation emulator for the PPC. Aparently it didn't run too badly either. I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get this emulator.
I also have a question about ROMS...not where to get them, but actaully how to make them. Since it's legal to make a backup of your own software, I would like to know how to back up one of my Playstation cds to an SD memory card. Any help with this would also be appreciated

The best place to look would probably be Pocket Gamer under their emulators section. I honestly don't believe it will run well, though, if there is one out there. You can't even get full-speed Super Nintendo emulation.

True, but you have to remember the big difference between Super NES hardware and Playstation hardware. I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but basically IIRC the Playstation uses direct access to files, thus eliminating the need for decompression hardware and other specialized hardware to play games. This is why a playstation emulator will run without much trouble on a 200MHz desktop machine.
Naturally it would be slower on a PPC, but it should still work better than most other consoles that are emulated right now.

Sony does not allow you to create an ISO image from their CD-ROMs. I will close any PSX emaulator threads I see. Thank you for understanding.
