pocketsnes file troubles

It doesn't seem to matter where pocketsnes or the rom files are, pocketsnes does not seem able to find it.

Not as a zip, not as a .smc, nothing.

wm5, x50v, I've installed just about anything I can think of.

I understand some people have troubles but when they put the rom in the my device folder or the SD card main directory it works, this is not so in my case.

Ive tried the .200 and the .201 opengl-es versions to no success.

Install this...

-Put the two files in the Axim \windows directory...
-Soft reset
-Go in the control panel and look for File Dialog Changer
-Check the box 'Exchange standard file dialog'

Now you have installed one of the Best freeware out there...
It replaces the standard 'stupid Microsoft file dialog' that search for file only in 'My Documents' folder with a more powerful one that allow you to use any folder...
Start PocketSnes and load Rom from where you put it...

I was certain I had installed something like this before, but regardless I did give this a shot, and there was no change. I've always been able to look in whatever folder I wished, but it still doesn't see any of the .smc or .zip files I have in any folder.

It shows any and every folder, but no files at all.

Also, I used a program to give the rom files an association to pocketsnes, they do associate but they simply open pocketsnes and do not load into the program.

I am really at a loss to explaining this, it is really rather frustrating.

Did you already tryed hard reset resetting the device?

Make sure you backup everything with the internal utility before you doing this, so you can restore all after that..

Are you sure you are using the correct version of PocketSnes for you device?
There are two version of PocketSNES with OpenGLES support...
One is for the X51V and the other one is for x50v with WM2003E...
The others that use GAPI or VGA drivers are on the n0p site
