lookin for emulators.
hi everyone, im new to the pocket pc and i haven't got my x3i just yet but i was looking for emulators so i can play s/nes, genesis, gb/a and neo geo roms on my x3i. i found a s/nes, genesis and gb/a emulator but I can't find a neo geo emulator. does any know of a neo geo emulator that will work on the x3i? and how good are these emulators with the buttons on the hand held? do u think it would be better to play the games with an external keyboard?

allround Emu sites
www.pocketgamer.org
www.zophar.net -> theres a link on the left for pocket pc emus
havent a clue about external keyboards as I dont have one

morphgear is supposed to be a god allround emu - megadrive sorry genesis/snes/nes/sms/gg/gbc
MameCE is a good arcade emu I >think< it might support neogeo, not sure
personally I use pocket nester (www.jetech.org)for nes stuff
pocket snes bleeding edge for snes
there is a free megadrive/genesis emu pocket genesis , but its very slow still
castce is a good atari st emu
pocket64 is an excellent c64 emu (costs about 3-4 euros/dollars from www.clickgamer.com)
pocket atari is a buggy but good 8bit atari emu
pocketvcs (clickgamer as well) is a good atari 2600emu
...gba emu??...getting into warez territory with that seeing as it and its games are still commerically available...just buy one and keep mario happy

I use MorphGear for my emulation. I bought it around two to three years ago, and it has constantly improved.

As for external keyboards, I have not been able to get my thumb board to work with my emulators. I am not sure about any other keyboards.

thanks for the info. i was thinking about getting a foldable keyboard for my axim. im getting the axim from free but its not coming with the keyboard so i'm thinking about getting the foldable one, if i have some feedback on it. i've gone to zophars for years for emulation stuff on my pc. i'll try mame on my ax when i get it for the neo geo stuff. info noted on gba.

Check out clickgamer.com for emulators and games. It has a c64 for $7 and both NES and Atari 2600 for FREE. You can "buy" the games or try them for free. Enjoy. After that, try theoldcomputer.com

Get the latest drivers from Dell. With those any emu that supports buttons remapping can see the letter keys (and remap them). The direction keys don't work right though. (use the regular D-Pad)
