Too late.
I already installed the new version. Has anyone tried the sys49152 command yet in this emulator? I see that the programmers of this put in a little message. At least in version 1.1. ![]()

Just follow the very first link in this thread, that cageyjames posted. It will take you to the Pocket C64 page at ClickGamer. At the bottom of that page (right above where the "Buy" and "Try" buttons), there is a note that says "Note: BIOS roms required - see FAQ for help." Follow the link to the FAQ, and your question will be answered in detail.
Also, keep in mind that you are only meant to use these if you actually owned the original machine. This is very grey-area, and really shouldn't be discussed here anyhow.....which is why I'm not posting a direct link to the files. Also, just for future reference, please don't discuss where to obtain ROM images of the games themselves as they are technically still copyrighted (in most cases). Thanks.

Just put up a review of the emulator and the company in applications: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...threadid=31534
Sadly, I cannot get the Bards Tale III to run either. Then again, I had problems sometimes running on the original machine. Banged the read head on my old 1541 somthing bad. Mr. Oberon

I'm looking for some help with the c64 emulator program. I downloaded it along with the Bios ROMS, which I installed in the same directory as the program on my AXIM. The problem is that when I try to run the program, it tells me it can't find the Bios ROMS. Where do I go from here?
Thanks. | |||||

Hmnnn, did you unzip the file? There should be 4 files.
It should find them automatically. Try downloading them again and then sending the unzipped files to the axim again. If this does not work, then uninstall the program and reinstall. Then copy the files before running it for the first time. Mr. Oberon

Are you guys experiencing long load times? I have waited about 8 min. just to load a game. I can't get Wasteland to work, I get an opcode error. I got on field football to work yesterday and today I just get an error message. I don't know what is wrong. you guys seem to be doing ok.
Thanks for any help. | |||

help with Bard's Tale
I have successfully loaded several ROM's but I am having trouble with the Bard's Tale. After the intro what do I do when it asks for the character disk. The ROM I have has the character disk as disk two but it doesn't seem to work. Please help. Thanks.
Also, anyone have a link to the code wheel for Pool of Radiance ![]()

Re: help with Bard's Tale
Quote:
Bards tale is still for sale by the publisher (for the IBM), check with Electonic Arts about purchasing it. Sorry, we do not deal in warez or how to find them in any form. Thanks, Mr. Oberon

Thanks for replying Oberon. I am not trying to steal any games. I have all the games I downloaded, and I have the Original Bard's Tale 1, 2, & 3, as well as the Interplay 10th anniversary version for PC. The Bard's Tale is not asking for a code or code wheel, it is asking for a character disk and I am just trying to configure PocketC64 to run properly. Any assistance in not stealing but configuring would be very helpful. Thank you.

Whoops! Misread the post.
Sorry 'bout that! Pool or Radience was published by SSI, and still is. About bards tale, autoload the boot disk, and when it asks for the character disk, just load (not autoload, the button next to it) the character disk. the three disks for the game come in a set. Mr. Oberon
