I have Morphgear running on my x30 Adv (set to 624Mhz) and the frame rates are bearable, but not perfect.

Plus the controls for the Axim are crap compared to the GBA.

So, think twice about leaving your GBA at home....

Just did some tests with the AXIM X30 high overclocked with XCPUScalar 2004 v2.80 to 728MHz. Set sound to 11kb/s and frame skip to zero in MorphGear running GBA emulation.

FPS was around 30 plus frames per sec at zero frame skip and 40 plus fps with 1 frame skip. Animation was smooth for all games I tried.

Yes the Axim X30 buttons are crap for playing games, at least compared to my iPAQ 2210.

what can I dowload to overclock my 312? What speed is reliable to overclock it? I played mario cart for GBA on my x30 and the frame rate was not good.

The download links are here : http://www.immiersoft.com/download.htm

The 312MHz X30 all seem to be reaching 520MHz without a hiccup. Since the PXA270 processor does support this speed, the speed is rock stable. Before you run XCPUScalar, set your power setting in control panel to "Maximum Performance".

The X30 high however runs reliably for several hours upto 728MHz. I have stress tested for over 24 hours at this setting and is very stable. Mario Kart runs at 40 fps with 1 frame skip and 30 fps at 0 frame skip with sound at 728MHz setting.
