anyone know where i can find a gameboy advance emulator for my axim x30? and how do i rip games for it?

Morphgear should do it fine. as for ripping that requires semi-expensive equipment that probabily really isnt worth it. if you download the ROMs, as long as you own the games you should be fine.

ROMs that are copyrighted are illegal on anything other than the original platform..

freeipods isn't a scam... it's a real thing... just needs so many referrals that it'll make you dizzy to get an ipod... I tried it a while back and haven't gotten one single spam message in my private email account.

Yea, my friend got his already. I tried downloading the ps2 emulator but i didn't know how to rip my games. By the way, if you rip a ps2 game, wouldn't it be bigger than any sd card? Sorry if all this sounds noobish, but that's what I am. Help a noob out

Sorry you wouldn't be able to play PS2 games on your PDA.There is a PSX (PS1) emulator tho.
And roms are certainly not illegal.You can make backups of any games you own and run them in your toaster if you want.
Dont you remember Connectix VGS and Bleem were legally sold to play PSX on your PC.

It was my understanding that as long as you owned the games that you could own the roms.. but I have heard supporting arguments both ways so I just keep to myself with the roms that I have as i have like over 100 different old nintendo games cartridges anyway. But Nintendo has put out a patent on an emulator for the gameboy advance so could possibly start legal action against creators of that type of emulator... and soon enough they could just come up with thier own emulator for the old systems and poof then all the emulators are illegal unless you have a license for it. Which means if you dont have the emulator then you cant use the roms... oh well... whatever happens will happen...

Emulators are legal; always will be. Thats never been an issue ever, though Nintendo are being jerky about it due to deep pockets; pretty much everythign in their patent is invalid.

Anyway, the issue is always ROMs; ROMs are of course 100% legal.

Distributing ROMs is illegal, just like distributing movies; you don't have the right to copy them to others, and they don't have the right to copy them to you; so downloading them (even if you own the cart) is illegal; ripping your own cart, buying them from starroms.com, copying them from another ocmmercial emu or other things are fully legal ways of getting ROMs..
