X50v and Morphgear

Okay, I can't take it any longer... I WANT ONE!!! However, there are so many conflicting reports about how Morphgear will run with the GAPI tweak, without it, etc. I would like any X50v owners that read this to report their experiences with Morphgear. Does it work 100%? Is it fast? How fast? If it doesn't work 100%, what exactly is wrong? Also, how are the buttons for playing games? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I have the Dell website open in another window and I am ready to press the order button...

It works great and fast for me with the gapi tweak, no problems what so ever!

Can you give me any examples of how many FPS you get in certain games? How about the buttons?

It works great with the tweak. I had to do one other little tweak that someone from morphgear posted on here and it worked like a champ. I play everyday and love it.

You need to do an easy tweak to get full speed gba games, but its easy and its gba!

Check out MG forums, they are very helpful.

Ok, here's some numbers for ya. Running Mario Kart Super Circuit with sound at 624Mhz using Picard's GAPI tweak I get anywhere around 10-12 [real; the number in the brackets] FPS on the first track (of the Mushroom Cup). I get 12-14 FPS when running it without sound.

Here's the settings I have for my Morphgear gaming:
SNES- All Sound options on (except interpolation and sync)/ Frameskip is 2 or 3
Genesis- All Sound on/ Frameskip 2 or 3. Sound off/Frameskip 1 or 2
GBA- Turn the Sound off, you'll get great speed/Fameskip 1 or 2
GG/SMS- All Sound on/ Frameskip 0!
GBC/GB- All Sound on/ Frameskip 0!
NES- All Sound on/ Frameskip 0!

I got these results after intalling Picards Gapi tweak:

This will update your gaming speeds drastically! An Overclocker helps as well:

My highest speed I can get is 702 mhz (Original Maximum Handheld speed was 624 mhz!), which is an amazing speed, especially for gaming! Get ready for your handheld early and get some stuff to tantalize the senses, Especially if it's game emulation !

Sounds like it performs as well as it should, but does it look, sound, and act normal? Is there any weird crap going on due to compatibility issues? How bout the buttons? How do they feel compared to the other axims or any other devices you have used?

Morphgear works with out res hacking

Picards Gapi tweak installed

settings:
Enhance driver
xcale settings
screen sampling ticked

Morphgear 2.2.5.7

Settings

Click the contrl pad icon
click the globle settings
Driver Set it to GDI

The above setting i got and it worked

Also if you want to use res hack set the driver to GDI


HOW do ZOOM IN Morphgear because i can see only 120 * 120

ok you have me hooked. Sorry it this was asked before but where can I get games for morphgear. I downloaded the free one off morphgear site and downloaded the emulator. Thanks Dan

Ok lets get one think straingt! I am NOT asking for some illegal hack for sega games! The only thing I am asking for is that when I bought my hp3865 a few years ago, a game on the hp cd was a demo version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Probably antique by now with todays standards. I just wanted to use the morphgear and BUY the program from a reputable company. I DO NOT STEAL! OK

I just wanted to know a simple question! What games can you play on morphgear? Any where can you legally get them. OK. Sorry if that is posted somewhere else. Thanks!
