Any Gaming Emulators That Can Work In Landscape Mode ?!

Hey fellow Axim-ers , I have another question to ask all of you. I've been recently try to find a emu that is compatiable with working in landscape mode. I have a Dell Axim X30 Mid, and been trying out emus such as Morphgear and Pocket SNES, but neither will work in landscape mode . So do any of you know of anyways to get game emulator to work in landscape ?

In order to put axim into landscape mode or select a screen orientation:
-start
-settings
-system
-screen
-select what orientation you want.

I tried this, & I do not have this option in my screen window. I have two things I can do in my screen settings: 1) Align Screen & 2) ClearType.

You might not have Windows Mobile 2003 SE. That might be the problem. I'm not sure that 2002/2003 have the option there.

You can get MorphGear into landscape mode through the emulator itself.

You tried playing games in landscape mode using the PDA buttons? having the buttons vertical makes playing the games a real pain.

Yeah seriously, I never enjoy those games in landscape mode.

Maybe its me, but I can't see how you can play games without playing them in landscape mode. I'm a big fella (6'5", looks down on puny humans ) Anyhow playing a game on a Axim with my big hands is a skill in its self. Although playing potrait mode is hell, while trying to use the Axim D-pad, and the virtual pad. I just don't have enough space . So if I could play in Landscape it will give me enough control to use the D-pad on one side, and the virtual pad on the other.

I know that Morphgear can go in landscape (by going in to global settings, and setting screen orientation to west/east), but by doing that it messes up the screen display, not allowing it to show the virtual pad leaving a white space blocking the display . How can I fix this ?! Thx in advance !!

I never use the virtual pad on morphgear. The idea of using my fingers on the touch screen makes me cringe.

As for the update, it was actually somewhat updated today. It is now version 2.3.0.1. There is the main morphgear component, and then you have to download the other modules.

LOL, Raynne413 I agree. With my big ass fingers, I'm nervous I would like "CRUSH" the screen. Especially since I removed my ClearTouch protector (I can't stand it) I feel that I also might feel my screens with scratches. Although I really want to play some decent classic games on the Axim. I guess I should wait for the PSP !! If anyone has any info on this though, then still feel free to post it up.

I know on the Playstation 1 emulator that landscape mode goes full screen so no virtual pad..so controls are a pain.

Nice to showoff to friends, not very practical to actual play for any length of time.

Hmm, so it seems that theirs no emu for PPC that works being played in landscape mode, with a virtual pad ?!
