Best C64 emulator?
Just downloaded and fired up Clickgamer's Pocket Commodore 64; seams like a good piece of work (though pricey), though its not really tuned for VGA. (Some screwyness .. either the VGA or WM2003SE causing it likely.) (I'm using the Axim X50v, and using the GAPI hacks seams to work okay.)

Just wondering..

What other C64 emus are any good?

What works best on VGA devices? (ie: VGA mode or otherwise..)

Mate - the only other C64 emu out there is a version of Comeback64. http://www.zophar.net/ppc/Files/cb64ce-02-arm.zip

I've had very little success with this on the X50v and rely on Pocket Commodore instead. I agree, it's pretty flakey in true vga (under oz_vga) - but it's solid enough in normal VGA.

Pocket Atari (Atari 800) has similar issues in true VGA and can prove a little unstable in normal mode.

The source code is also *cough cough* available.

Mark.

Guess I'll stick with Pocket Commodore for now.. just screwing about.

Seams every you go, you need to port emus yourself

Mobile devices don't have enough developers, especially for emus; years ago I'd have thought people would be all over them.
