Its "discworld", and "more" and "scummvm" and "prefer" and "please" etc. Damn dude, take 5s longer to write the mail :P Its also not "attention" since no ones life depends on it.

Anyway, I looked it up and those games need:

386 DX-33 MHz or better,
Min 4 MB memory,
MS-DOS 5.0 or later,
Hard drive required,
Single speed CD-ROM drive or faster (for the CD-ROM version),
VGA graphic card, Mouse, Joystick,
Sound Blaster and 100% compatibles, Gravis UltraSound/Max, Adlib or 100% compatibles, General Midi

Maybe PocketDOS would do it.

It's (or "its" as you typed it) should have an apostrophe (you screwed it up twice), and there should be a comma after "Damn". See how lame it is to play the grammar police online? You end up looking like the ignorant one.

Next time, you may want to stick to just giving advice and/or help. You can save yourself from looking foolish.

Sure, everyone makes a few typos.. fine. But I was suggesting that when you blow most of the important words in a post (not just "its", but most of the words that matter), it likely means you should take a moment to clear it up, rather than just post and have everyone else try and guess for you. ie: Asking a question usually gets more responses when it is more clear as it shows one has done his homework first etc. (Take it from an emu author who gets these questions 40 or 50 times every day

Anyway, he seamed helped a bit by PocketDOS; myself, I've not had much luck with the various DOSBox ports around, as they're all in some sort of disrepair for one version of CE or another, but everyones mileage may vary.

I could care less if you're an emu author . Wow! 40 or 50 questions a day! The point is that your post could have been shortened to the second half. If you were primarily trying to point out the most important words in his post e.g. "discworld" and "scummvm", then you wouldn't have felt the need to point out the missplelling of "prefer", "please" and attention". Did that make you feel like a big man trying to belittle someone else online?

The last sentence (English is not your first language, is it?) was a borderline contribution Welcome back!

Crossing the line there I think, but I know I must've been in a grumpy mood to start with and do deserve it to some extent, but you're nasty This could easily keep going as I'm almost enjoying it for some reason So anyway, people *should* take some care when posting .. if they expect people to reply, they should do them the honour to post halfway well (though not perfectly, as we're all human). Thats it, thats all my point, that people should have some courtesy .. too often do I get "email-DOS'd" (email-denial of service) by people who just find it easier to spam the inbox of someone because they're in the public, rather than spend 10 seconds with google or on a website. (ie: I get some 10 people a day asking me what the latest version of some project is, when of course the latest version is on the website. Why do they email? Because its easier for *them* to email than to spend 10s browsing, since they had an email program open. People should not be thinking about what is easier for them, and instead say "I'm going to ask someone for help, so I should make it easier for them so I can get a fast response easily".) So perhaps I was a tad rude by calling him out on it, but you do get sick of having hundreds of badly formatted or illegible questions a day

Anyway, nice to meet you, lets move on, we're all helping people here
