What are they used for?

Im really confused about them


I see them in the game section every so often but...

just tell me everything about them...

an emulater is a way of pretending that your current hardware is another piece of hardware like a gba emulater would allow us to play gameboy advance games (these come in rom files which we are not allowed to post here but are legal if you own the game)

just so you know, they also make emulators for PC too.

And remember,
The safest way to get a rom is to buy a cable and download the rom image, from the original cartrage, yourself.

Well, you download the rom to the PC first, then you move it to the PPC. Just do a simple google search. You will find all your answers.

ive been playing tons of games on a game boy advance emulator on pc but is there one for ppc? and if so, do you know the name of it (a website link would also be splendid)
