Actually... we have alot to do on our list but no one to step up to do it, we need some dedicated Developers and programmers to jump up to do so. Here's the list:
1.Upgrade the Snes core
(Currently it's 1.43 WIP, we want to upgrade it to the 1.43 Final, here's a link-
http://vincent.grigorieff.free.fr/snes9x/)
2.Throw out the Genesis Module fully and replace it with a better one
(Currently we use Generator but everyone so far says that it sucks and I agree, so here's a link to a better genesis emu that I wish could be ported by someone to Morphgear- http://www.retrobase.net/gensplus/
This emu not only play Megadrive games, but 32x and Sega CD games as well!)
3.Upgrade the Current Turbografx-16 core
(Current one- Hugo 2.00, is highly outdated and has some compatibility problems, ie Military Madness. The recently released 2.12 will fix alot of issues with the current version-
http://www.zeograd.com/hugo_download.php)
4.It would be cool to have a Neo Geo Pocket Emu... I know pocket pc has one but it's too buggy and has no sound-
http://neopocott.emuunlim.com/download.html
Here's a link to one that I highly like-
http://potato.emu-france.com/
5.On screen, Invisible landscape Virtual Pad, somewhat like FpseCE...
6.A wonderswan Emu might be interesting-
http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php...wan/oswan.html
7.and Final a MSX emu would top it all off...-
http://www.bluemsx.com/

So are we finished with Morphgear... no. Do we have the programmers/developers to finish off this list... no. That's why we are now trying to reach out to the community so we can. Hopefully if more people jump on the Spicypixel(Morphgear) Team,
Morphgear will never die but flourish into the dream that we can all have... the perfect multi- Emu !

I think the x50v is fantastic but it as a huge problem and thats its control method. No matter how good morphgear gets we will always be stuck with a very poor control system.

Also the reason i beleive emu developers will pass the PPC by is because of systems like the PSP and NDS these handhelds are built for games and have far better controls, Mass market appeal amd much cheaper than a PPC.

Its a shame at this point we still don't have a viable controller for the x50v. Maybe with the advent of powerfull handheld gaming devices Dell will consider a decent built in controll method for games for its next PPC.

umm. yes we do- it's not builtin, but the bluetooth chainpus gamepad is available.

i do not personally own it, but i have heard it works quite well. i wish i could code! maybe we can come up with a way to get the word out beyond these two forums (aximsite and spicypixel) i've been asking around my friends who are code fluent, but nobody really has pdas, therefor aren't too interested. i keep talking about my x50v, and all the things we can do- hell, it's practically attached to me. ppl are always asking me what i can do with it. lets get more ppl interested, maybe we'll peak the interest of the right ones that can help us save morphgear!

On morphgear: The problem is that people who have the ability often don't have time to do it since the skillset seems to overlap with long hours at a job. Of those that have both the ability and the time, not many own/care about pocket pcs. For those that have the ability and time and care about having pocket pc emulators, we have the emulators we have today.

On controls: They suck. There are attempts at making them better with wireless controllers or plastic clip on things, but that's just not good enough. Anywhere that I would want to use a pocket pc for games vs. a real gaming handheld, I would want to just be able to pull the thing out of my pocket, load up a game and play. The BT gamepad means that, first, I have to carry around this extra thing, and second, it means that I have to find a place to put down the ppc and sit infront of it to play, instead of just holding it like a gameboy. This is why even obscure gadgets like the GP32 have better support than ppc- it's an all-in-one device to play games. Until ppc manufacturers start putting real game controls on the things and/or marketing them for games, there's going to be a really small subset of people who have the ability, time and desire to write emulators for the PPC AND think that it's even worth it due to the crappy controls.
