Not at the moment, seeing as a 700mhz desktop will stuggle to emulate it full speed + quality with sound.
Possible next gen on PPC, or perhaps the next after that..
Bear in mind the software will take time to develop, even if the hardware is capable.
I would love it if it was made though

well, the xbox is a 733 mhz desktop and it emulates flawlessly at full speed + quality sound, but of course the software was developped by 3 separate developpers, and the system itself has a pretty good gpu.

The 733mhz is all powered toward the Game. On a pda the processor has to monitering power and the OS. The XBOX has a OS designed just to run games and DVD's

k i just read my other thread and this is what a guy found
quote joshiese
Here is my take on it from information I have found on the net.......The new Axim's due late fourth quarter of 2005 will offer more multimedia options and be geared toward the consumer market. They will offer built in storage drives much larger than what is currently being offered on the X50 line (around 2-4GBs and up sound about right). Don't look for the screens to get much larger as that defeats the purpose of a "pocket" device, however resolutions will continue to improve as video processors become better. (Unknown of we will see a VGA screen resolution increase this fall). These new Axim's will be set up with gamers and multimedia options in mind. There are plans for a Smartphone version of the Axim which might surface second quarter of 2006. The X50 line will continued to be offered until the third generation comes out Fall of 2006. The X30's will be gone by the end of 2005. Basicly there gonna be released within the next 4months hopfully in like 2-3 but anyways it should handle n64 emulation and if it doesnt then it will take about a year from that release date for it to handle it

It's not just about pure processing power - the N64 has some rather complex architecture which needs to be emulated first - prior to even punting games around.

I really believe that it's going to be a good few years before we have a PDA with enough raw power to emulate the N64.

Mark.

Dont forget that the N64 is actually a 64-bit system - that will take some work to emulate on an ARM cpu.

Yeah, I'm working on an N64 emulator.
I have the GRC data complied and still am working on the platform config data. An beta version will probably be released this December. I am a computer programmer and just joined this site to improve the quality of games avaliable for the x50v. My daughter recently bought me one for my birthday last month. I am also working with the ldchen and Schtruck in their playstation emulator.

The N64 is on it's way. It'll probably run at 5-10fps in the first version. I am planning to get it somewhere around 25-30 in the next year.

O_O
So you intend to make one thats optimized for the x50v? *drools*

Um... would you care to see if you can fix/optimize one of the GBA emulators out there? ^_^ that would be really nice of you if you did.

You need to buy a cable that hooks up to the cartrage to your computer. Then you dump the game image "rom" onto your computer.
