have had successful syncing till recently - now just get 'not connected' on Vista sp2 pc with windows mobile device centre installed. Have tried reinstalling latter but no joy. Know device is ok because when connecting on another pc connects fine. Device manager has microsoft isatap #2 adapter with yellow exclamation mark - not sure if this is affecting or firewall issue perhaps? Any advice gratefully received

I just purchased a x51v that was in a Dell factory sealed box, apparently a refurb handset that was sent out in a warranty exchange. Overall, it works and looks like new EXCEPT one thing. It will periodically show that the main battery is dead when it is not. If I do a soft reset when the message is displayed there will be a charge of as much as 90% when shortly before it will say empty. I did have to buy a battery for it and I am wondering if it is the battery or the unit. Has anyone has seen something similar? It seems to happen when using it at maximum power such as running TomTom and connected to a Bluetooth GPS. I do have the ability to return the unit if it is defective. Any thoughts? I am using OS Windows XP, ActiveSynce 4.5. Each time I attempt to sync these device I get an "Resolve Items" and a message next to "Notes" 158 unresolved items. When I click on "Resolve Items" I get the following message-"Cannot Synchronize 'Notes\name of note' with this device.
It may be in use or you may not have enough device memory."
I have done soft resets, hard resets, re-installed Active Sync. These files are not in use and I have over 132mb of memory left on my device.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? I am at my "wits end"

Planned on using it with a real estate appraisal application. I'm new to these devices and a lot of the stuff on this site is way over my head. Anyway I got the unit on and active sync installed. I was on the internet with it and the screen got a little fuzzy in areas. I tried a soft reset but right now when I turn it on the windows mobile screen comes on but I can't get to the start screen. Can't do anything really. There is not much data on it but there are settings to use my wirelss router on it. Can I save any of the settings on it by using active sync? Do I need to do a hard reset? The internet seems pretty slow to me and was wondering if that is normal. If these things are that senstive not sure I will trust it with my work. I'm having problems with my x51v . When I touch the start button, sometimes it starts and sometimes not. I have to wait several days without being triggered.
When I can not turn on, I can intro in bootloader mode and change the system but when I'm finished, I can not turn on again.
And after 2 or 3 days, starts only.

What do you think about this?
Where is the problem? In the OS or maybe in the hardware.

I've had my Axim since 2005. From time to time there have been syncing problems, but they have worked themselves through with reboots, restarts, etc. Now, the ActivSync on my PC says there are no relationships and the Axim (sitting in the cradle), just won't even try to sync. How do I make them talk? I've checked all the hardware connections, restarted, rebooted, checked settings everywhere. FRUSTRATED!!
