A few of the programs installed flawlessly, but the ones I have attempted lately haven't been working. When attempting to access them on my axim, I keep getting a few error messages. The first is: "The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of it's components..." the other is: "The program is not a valid Pocket PC application". Anyone have any tips or ideas to help out? I have been without a PDA for a number of years, but I am just about to receive a refurbished Axim X51v running WM6 this week.

I know the question about bluetooth keyboards has been asked before but many of those topics are old and the recommended keyboards are often not available any more.

So, from the CURRENT available keyboards, can anyone suggest the best option....bearing in mind I am in Japan so Amazon US (for example) won't export.

Also, I have seen the recommendations for memory upgrades in Hong Kong (being in Japan that is quite handy), and I also read the topics on Page Pool settings to increase speed of some applications.

I'm looking at the extended batteries available, and was hoping to find out how much time I'd be getting on a 2000 mah, approximately.
Mainly for watching video, which eats a lot of power.
The original battery wears out in less than an hour.

Also, is there a program that allows me to read txt, doc files in full screen without the toolbars visible? From my shopping so far, it appears as though I will get either a Axim x51v or some iPaq. I like what I've read about the Axim, but there are quite a few iPaqs to choose from. Which should I pick, given my price range? I simply want the best PocketPC available on eBay for $150 or less, used is OK.

Things that I would prefer:
*802.11g WiFi, although 802.11b is OK
*Good, vibrant graphics and a large screen
*Fast processor, memory is not as important
*High availability of add-ons (GPS, camera, etc.)
*Longer battery life, although this is not essential

I'm sure this can't be that difficult, but how do you add a link to the today screen for a programme that you have installed on the x50 PPC? This would avoid having to open the start menu, then click on the program and save.... only a few valuable seconds!

I've looked all over the PPC and can't figure it out, also can't find any threads on the subject on the forum.

I have tried on an X50 and X30. I downloaded versions that would work with these axims at. However, when I try to install the cab file I get the error message "The file is not a valid Windows CE setup file."

I was trying to get all of the settings right before I attempted to connect wirelessly. I used the cd to install the drivers from the manufacturer. When I insert the wireless card, the device immediately recognizes wireless networks in the area to conect to. I didn't want to get ahead of myself, and just start clicking things without knowing what I was doing.
