My X50v connects to my razr, dials, but then says that there is not a modem there. I connect via BT.

Any suggestions?

Doberman, I had a Razr and had lots of trouble with it for BT DUN with my x51, then changed to a nokia and it works fine. The motorolas seem to be problematic, but have a look at this thread to see if you can find the settings and extra dial string commands you need for your service provider. And this thread about dial up networking might also give you some ideas

You didn't mention, but has it ever connected? I had trouble with my razr and ipaq, but found out that my ipaq settings were not correct.
