Well, there's been a lot of talk as to what the next flash zunes will have as far as capacity goes. Their are mixed opinion's about this and so what do you all think about what we should expect to see in the next generation of flash?

Flash players are meant to be small capacity and smaller size players, I think we'll get 8GB and 16GB with no option of 4GB...

well i think we'll be getting at least 32 gigs of memory,but i HOPE we get something more this time.If that's not the case though on zune i'm pretty sure things will be like that in ipods [given the fact that they've already reached the 16gig capacity almost a year now].

I agree with Xerosis I think it will only be 8 - 16 offered. Although I am like azaas were I would love to have a 32. Maybe a few versions after we will get larger flash players. Like Xerosis said, flash players are meant to be the smaller size.

rock4christ: Yah, that'd pretty much be the greatest zune I could imagine.. As long as they thinned up the 80 a tad, and made sure even though it was flash it had the video out.

I'd like to see the sharing feature expanded upon or tweaked a little bit. Three days/three plays should still stand unless you happen to be within range of the Zune from which the file originated. I'd love to see Zunes functioning as a nice little short range peer-to-peer music network -- as long as somebody is within range of your wifi, you have access to their stuff and they to yours.

dcalvaneso: That'd be cool in theory, but They'd have to add privacy settings as far as people looking through your libraray's, b/c some people may not like that idea.. although I'm assuming most would. And as I said b4, wifi games would be pretty cool... maybe when you bored.. playing pong over wifi would be enjoyable. while listening to some shared music.

What they should do is give it a built in FM Transmitter, so people can tune into your "station" and listen to what you're listening to...and have an option not to let people...

The next iteration will probably be 16 (maybe 32 or something) but eventually flash will become the standard. I can't wait until this happens, I'd love to be able to put my entire library into a device so small. I always liked the flash players because it seems as though you can slip them into a pocket and never be bothered by their presence (my chunky Zune 30 is quite conspicious outside of some kind of bag) but I was never willing to sacrifice the ability to keep my whole library with me.

As xerosis and dcalveneso were saying..., I think they could incorperate it into the social when it says, "nearby zunes" or w/e, and says what song their listening to. By clicking the name, it'd tune into their zune and you could listen as well. Then if people looked at your name.. it'd say "listening to ben's zune" or something.. that'd be so tight :D

with the technology we have right now flash memory can't go above 64gb so im gunna say between 8gb and 16gb

Yeah, that may be right.. although I'm starting to think we may see a 32 gig version, to be competitive with apple.

hopfully it will have a bigger screen then the 4/8gb zune
