I took the time to create the toaster. Pardon me if I'm coming off as bitter, but please. I contribute what I contribute. I've posted reviews in the games forum. I used to post about upcoming game releases. I socialize and crack jokes. Rarely have I ever helped with a hardware or software issue, because that is not my forte.

I'm not realistically wasting the time of anyone who chooses to click my "View MyPDA" link. I guarantee most people would at least get a kick out of it. I'm a designer. I used this to create as realistic a toaster/Axim composite as 72dpi will allow. I did it solely to give a person who clicks MyPDA a laugh.

To feel the need to post in this thread with such a buzz-kill when 2 members have already posted something funny in response to the toaster just seems unnecessary. We artists are sensitive :icon_knud

Chill out, Choir. A lot of people are here for the chat and the humor, not only for technical questions... this is also what makes this community that great. And if you're kind with him, perhaps he will make a great picture to advertise your shirts

If all Aximsite members would take the time to develop MyPDA, there are a lot of questions from new users that could be quickly solved.

So, please, keep the neat toaster Axim, but add some more legit info!

I'm aware of your myPDA crusade, and seriously, that's great. But can people lighten up slightly? Did you miss the part about "contributing in my own way"?

Please don't try to tell me that all or even most musicians take criticism the way you claim to. That's just silly.

I have a barebones pda that I use to sync Outlook, browse the internet, and play games on. Let's be real here, no one cares. If I want to contribute something of substance, I'm posting it. They won't have to wait for a post of mine to click my "myPDA". I've been a member for a good while, but I really don't post often. Many of you have practical "myPDA" pages. I don't.

The toaster stays :) I can't believe this is an issue. I am falling out of my chair laughing as I type this. If Chris wants me to lose the evil that is my toaster, I will do it, no questions asked. He's a cool cat

Your "myPDA" space is just that, I believe. It's yours, to do with as you wish. Some people may wish to put useful, practical tips and hints on using Axims in their "myPDA" (look at bondr006 or rob1303 to see fantastic examples of that). Some people, on the other hand, simply want to use it as an expression of who they are and what they're good at, and this forum is as much about the members as it is about the Axims themselves. If everyone had variations on the same theme in the "myPDA", that would be neither helpful nor interesting.

The toaster-axim is unique, creative and humourous. Thanks for sharing it with us!
