UT2004 player here, too
![]() Have to agree it (UT) is an awesome game. I haven't been able to play Halo online, or Halo 2 at all for that matter. I liked Halo, especially its storyline - pretty nice, like Half-Life 2. However, I don't know if I'd want to play it again. UT2004 will always have more re-playability for me. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Halo and look forward to a chance to play the second game, but I always keep thinking of UT when I want some fun. Just my 2.....pennies? Heh, Brit over here ![]()

I have to agree that I prefer UT2004 better. While Halo is good the first time through, it gets rather repetitive after a while. UT2004 stays new with the ability to download maps, mods, skins, etc... Halo you can't really do that. While UT2004 stays fresh, Halo just keeps getting older. And don't forget, Halo 2 only sold that many copies the first day because of all of the fanboys of the Xbox... It's really not that great of a game in my opinion...

Hey, hey People! Settle down! I personally like this thread so far and would not like it to go into lock-down state for Flame-wars...
Let's get back unto the topic please and set our differences aside. I'll toss my opinion into this... 1.Halo was an excellent game for PC, I must say! I'm personally not an Xbox fan ( Nor do I have an Xbox), so I haven't played it for the console. Once I heard it came for PC, I downl... grabbed myself a copy . If It did come for Pocket PC (more likely Dell Axims X50v/ X51v series only), I think it would need some serious optimizations and possibly would have to be sold on a SD Card (or CF Card), considering it is a huge game. Is it possible... yes.Would I want it... in my opinon... no... 2.UT2004 is an extremely fast game! Highly popular and can run on just about any system there is. I think this game would seriously be able to be put unto a pocket pc via downloading. With Epic Games pumping out some seriously great and fun looking games, all there needs to be now is a pocket pc publisher to pick it up... The creators of Quake Mobile did this with ID Software ...Would I want it... Hell Yes! It would be totally... *Announcer of UT2004 Speaks Up* UNSTOPPABLE! 3.Half Life was a great game of it's time and I believe it could be possible to be put unto the Pocket PC Platform (It came to PS2 for crying out, It must really be possible). With some optimizations here and there, maybe we can convince Valve to do so when they finish there current game line up. There only 3 more games to go (Half Life 2 Aftermath, Half Life 2- Xbox version, and that demo with HDR Lighting), so maybe we can bother them then afterward... 4. Quake 3 was recently ported to Pocket PC but I would love to see it totally optimized for the Axim X50v/ X51v handhelds (ie Open GL|es or Direct X Mobile)... 5.I would love to play Pain Killer on the go in my opinion. Only a few people know of this game but I would love to see this running on a handheld (Not Xbox)! Well thats my 2 cents, take it or leave it, I don't care. Remember, these are my opinions and views so don't take them entirely to heart !
