Warfare Incorporated vs. Age Of Empires: Gold
I have decided to pay the $30 for a good strategy game. Iv looked at Age of empires and warfare incorporated as the main ones. They both got similar reviews and I can't decide on which one would be better. Anybody have both and would recommend one over the other?

Cant speak about AOE, but I have loved WI. It has a map/game maker editor and users can make their own complete story lines! If you search their website, you will find at least 30 more campains to load. Most are very good and all for free. It will add a year to the games life.

Both games are excellent. Warfare, Inc does allow for multiplayer gaming, if that's something that might interest you.

AOE is far better, Warfare feels like it isn't finished at all. Remember you can download many new fanmade scenarios for Age Of Empires, since AOE for PC has been around since like 1997 there are many user made scenarios available and some are great fun to play.
BTW almost all the levels in warfare look the same

I have played both, I can't stand AOE. It is fun, but very slow. I die of bordum gathering berries and cutting down trees. Very painful to play in my opinion. I love WI! It is fast action and you can speed up the game play so it doesn't turn into a boring wait.

Have you tried to set the game to maximum speed?

I have both but it's still hard to decide which one is better. However it seems that I play AoE much more so I'd have to say that one.

I have demos of both games and hardly ever play them simply because neither are in VGA. They both seem fun from what I have played of them, but I won't buy either until one of them offers a VGA version. I'd hate to buy one and then the other come out with VGA shortly after.

I don't think either version will have VGA anytime soon, especially not AOE.

They won't update them, they've got the chase of Cell Phone BS and now develop java crap games, ringing tones and such BS.
