Hi Numskull
Astraware Sudoku has the ability to generate puzzles at all 6 difficulty levels. We calculate that it can do literally billions of puzzles, more than enough to keep people busy forever!
Kind regards
Alison

Yes I do :)
I bought this Sudoku just for that option, that I couldn't find anywhere else.
But except when I want to try a 16x16 board, I prefer playing with the Astraware one.

Hi Numskull,
The Sudoku Collection also generates endless puzzles at varying difficulties for each of the 4x4, 9x9 and 16x16 puzzles.
There's a free trial at http://www.pocketadventures.com/sudoku.asp and screenshots at http://www.pocketadventures.com/sudoku_ss.asp

Just to weigh in with my opinion...
I have tried three and then purchased the one that I liked best : Mastersoft Sudoku.
For the record, I have an X30h so VGA was not a consideration for me
Three that I tried:
1) Sodoku Solver (freeware) Nice but missing essential tools such as pencil marks and various undo options.
2) Mastersoft: Everything I needed and wanted. I especially like the scoring system.
3) Spiral Mile Sudoku Rules: My biggest complaint is that this game would chew through my battery in no time. I can play the other games above for hours on end and only use 25% or so but this one would use more than 50% in about an hour.
Hope this helps somewhat.

One more Mastersoft question, the trial download urges to be kept in main memory. I have no room there and am wondering if anyone has had trouble keeping it on a CF or SD card? Thanks.

I run mine from my SD card without any issues.

The Mastersoft version is at release candidate 4 (v2.0) with proper VGA support - should be release very soon now :) (I'm presently testing it and it's looking good! I haven't attempted any of the hardest levels of it but seeing as the timer now includes 'days', as well as hrs/mins/seconds, I'm guessing it's a pretty tough level ;)

I just came accross a new variation of the game called "Sudoku Sniper" (I think I found the link at PocketGear or something like that).
Basically two players (human/human or human/computer) play the same sudoku at the same time, and each time one of the players enter a number it appears on the other player's screen (via bluetooth if the game is between two human players). The goal is of course to enter more correct numbers than your opponent.
It spices up the game a bit :)

I recently purchased the new Mastersoft version and I have to say that it pretty much kicks ass.

I just released a new version of The Sudoku Collection. I'd love to hear some feedback on it.

I like Superdoku (admittedly it's the only one I tried). Unlimited puzzles and you have to unlock features as you go. You can enter your own and work it out or have it generate the solution.
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...doku-v1-0.html
As the link suggests, it's free.
