Online sudoku flash game

one of the better Sudoku puzzle games is the sudoku flash game that you can find on www.sudoku.gs . For children it is fun because the easy level is really too easy. However the fiendish level is really tough.

There are still some improvements to be made and a kakuro versioin will soon be released as well. If you have comments on this sudoku game please post them on http://forum.crosssums.net

I just thought I would briefly revive this thread to say that I can wholeheartedly agree...this free PocketSudoku is great! Everything I want/need, frankly. The only reason I was hesitant to try it was because nowhere on the page does it mention VGA support, so I was churning gears trying the commercial demos, but I just finally tried this one, and it does work perfectly in VGA. That's really a no-brainer that the developer should consider (and already have thought of) on his features list. Anyway, for me, it's everything I need and more...very good interface, good puzzle generation on different difficulties, and no needless "frills" like fancy skins. Two thumbs up from me also. Great program, especially for freeware.

Thanks for the nice review :) Will immediately add VGA support to the features list, if there are more people considering downloading the game with this in mind.

Just wanted to say that we've updated Pocket Sudoku again. Mostly bug fixes this time, though... Have a look at http://pocketsudoku.sf.net

Works fine, thank you :approve:

When I enter my 'own' grid, do I have the option to lock the grid so that I don't change the defaults by accident ?

That's what we call "Set Originals", found in the Game menu.

Pocket Sudoku looks pretty good. I have developed a Sudoku addiction somewhat recently so I will take a look at it. My favs right now are Astraware's Sudoku and Resco Sudoku.

Pocket Suduko makes the game almost too easy -
In 'very hard' I'm down at 8-9 minutes on the last few games played.
Usually (paper and pencil) it takes quite longer ...:p

I didn't try before I bought. Nor did I read the instructions. I purchased Pocket Sudoku 2.0 by DKM and it was freaking my X50 out but I had installed it on the SD card. I sorted it all out with advice from the board & now it works perfectly. But the advice I got... try before you buy ... is very valuable!

www.spiralmile.com is a nice program but I also have problems with it. When I try to generate new random puzzles it freezes. I emailed them about this and I have not heard back from them, so I don't think they offer much technical support. I am also looking for a different game due to the above problem.
