By far, the best Sudoku I have found is SuperDoku:
SuperDoku

i've tried a number of sudoku software games such as
DKM Sudoku Sniper
Astraware Sudoku
Mobirate Sudoku Pro
Mastersoft Sudoku
PDAMill GameBox Sudoku
Spb Sudoku

My favorite is still Mastersoft's Sudoku for the regular 3x3 version. I think its features are the best. With that said, I'm really disappointed that in Mastersoft's V2 they never came out with the 4x4 tables. I think that would have been really challenging and more enjoyable. Instead all they did was some changes to the V1 and then recharged every owner of V1 a new price for V2.

I've now turned to Gamebox Sudoku since it's different grid sizes is more of a challenge :)

A few months ago I got interested in Sudoku.
I downloaded over 30 free versions and Handango free trials and compared them on features with a crude spreadsheet. I just got a Square screen Ipaq so this eliminated many programs that did not. I also looked for options like number first or square first. I also said that if it wasn't free, it had to be very good with lots of options. Other options to look for are colors for original numbers vs entered numbers. Good pencil marks usage, and highliteing the number you are entering.
The winner for my square screen was the free SuperDoku. Version 1 doesn't support Sq screen but you can get version 2 beta which does from the creator for free also.

Pocket Sudoku

Pocket Sudoku v0.9 is nice, but somewhat easy even in the 'very hard' mode.
My 10 best range is 7:42 to 3:38

.

GameBox Sudoku is on sale until Wednesday for $2.54. I couldn't see a reason to pay $15 for a sudoku game with all the good free versions out there, but at that price it's worth it for the nice interface.

Can you provide a link of where this offer is??? I tried Handango and PDAmill and cannot see that price.
Thanks... Ron...
