Yahoo! Was just looking up some titles at Handango today and found that the next chapter in the EQ saga has been released. I haven't even finished the first one, let alone start the 2nd one...but what cool news! :D
Start off at level 25 (even if you import a character below that level). The combat at the beginning is a little more difficult, however, I haven't even finished the first quest and the equipment loading on MOBS is nice. The only complaint I have so far (and this includes the Second Chapter) is that there aren't enough chests/boxes/barrels that you can open. It seemed like they were going to make it a big addition to the game but after finishing the second chapter it appears to be more of an afterthough.
All in all though, each chapter is definitely worth the $20 (makes my Commute that much 'shorter').

something to make that commute shorter is what i'm looking for. so will the gameplay with Everquest and/or Age of Empires eat up the battery? i have 2 1/2 hr plane rides twice a week and this would totally make the time "fly" by... i'm tired of playing solitare!
I was testing my battery life, with the regular battery and the extended battery. I played games like Everquest and Age of Empires, among others and got a little over 5 hours with the regular batter and a little over 15 hours with the extended battery.

I really wish that you could enter buildings a la ultima style. I hate walking around towns, and talking to the stupid merchants outside their buildings. Would it be so hard for them to work inside?
speaking of Everquest, (Ch. 1), does anybody know how to get into the temple in the Oasis of Marr? (I'm on the "Neriak Librarian quest) does it have anything to do with the quest "all signs point to Befallen"?
You remember the area where you went to the right for both the ogre cave and to the forest of Nektulos? Go past that area and I think the next area is the Western Commonlands. Follow the left wall and you will see a pathway kind of. Talk to the guard you see standing there.

ok, well I found Befallen, and I cleared it up of just about everything in there, and I still couldn't get through the door marked "do not enter by her highness fatima (K'dritz)" or something like that and it said that i needed a large key to open that door. I went to the dark elf captain that let me go arrest/kill the deserter, and he gave me the sack with the piece of gold and the sketch of the statue, but I cant figure out how to get through that damned door! please tell me what to do next....
You have to take the sketch back to the guy in the first town (the one that's always asking for ale.) He'll tell you to take it to the guy just north of there in the stables, who wants some sort of payment to build the amulet. That should get you started...
BTW, the queen and the king are the last two enemies you'll face in EQ1. You will come back to Befallen after you have finished the other remaining quests (the guy in chains gives you the key you need.)
