My wife has set a limit on the number of games I can buy. And even though I can satisfy my needs most of the time with PocketNester, I need your opinions. If I am going to shell out $20 a game, I want them to be good games. So what gives the best bang for the buck??
Depends on the type of games you like. If you love solitaire then King Sol Solitaire would be good. If you like Golf then Zio Golf 2. If you like puzzle games then get something from Astraware.
There are a lot of good games out there so it is hard to answer not knowing what kind of games you would be interested in. With Pocket Nester though you have a ton of games to chose from.
Yeah, PocketNester is great. I love all the Astraware games. I have downloaded their demos. But I love all types of games, so I guess I am asking which games are most enjoyable to YOU guys out there.
I think that Everquest is a worthwhile game. I bought the first one, but I don't think I am going to shell out the other $40 for the last two episodes for a while. $20 a game just seems really steep to me.
My favorite games are RPGs, but the games I play the most are:
Nuclear Time
Sorcery
Kyle's Quest 2
Kyle's Quest Classic
Toki Tori
Scrabble
Any Episode of Pocket Everquest
Emperor's Mahjong
Text Twist
What Word
Pocket Grandmaster

If you havent played sim city 2000, or havent played it a lot
GET THAT GAME its fun :)
Another good game that is still cheap is argetum or something like that... its a war game and it cost only 14 dollars which is considerably cheap compaired to some of the other games out there.
Strategic assualt is also good not great but good
I am basing that on how much i liked the game
BUT PRICE WISE THIS IS THE BEST GAME BECAUSE ITS ONLY $$5 DOLLARS~!!
The thing that kinda bugs me about alot of the commercial PPC games it the price. Two games I'd like to get just for kicks are Scrabble and Simcity 2000, except they are $30 each. This is a little steep for SS2000, a game that has been around forever in several forms, and even Scrabble for the PC is only around $10 in the bargain bins. My personal favorite freebies are PocketVCS (the great Atari 2600 emulator) and Egghead, very addictive. My wife and I take turns at Egghead to be fair ("All right, it's my turn, hand it over!!"):)
No PPC games and very few peices of software are worth money and if they are then it cannot be anything substantial.
Most PPC games should cost $5-10 MAXIMUM (absolute maximum) with many PPC games that should cost less than that or nothing at all. My idea is that you be able get a few games and apps and pay a fee to the website you download it from depending on the program you buy.
Textmaker is an excellent program, quite sophisticated and it is in a rank of it's own among PPC apps, very few are this extensive and useful. Therefore it would make sense to charge $25-35 for these programs. Almost all other apps should cost $5-15 and possibly a good 40-50% of apps should be free or offer a lite and full version, one being free and one costing a small amount.
