Hi, has anyone got it working on an x51v.

I copied the files (the open gl optimized version) over but hwn i tried to execute it says something like the program does not have a trusted certificate or has missing components. please reinstall.

hmmm.... I guess it's not compatible with WM 5. Speaking of certificate, I guess you can get the program to work by disabling the security feature. Though, I'm not sure. Ask citanic;he's an expert.

is that program even compatible with windows mobile? most programs on sourceforge are for linux/unix-variants.

Yes, it is compatible with Windows Mobile. see: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=98674

In fact, it is one of the few FREE games that supports Intel 2700G. I checked out this program and the graphic is just AWSOME!!

1. i dled the openGL optimized zip.
2. unzipped it
3. copied the cubeppc folder to the sd card using 'Mobile Device' in My Computer in Win XP
4. used file explorer to open it from the x51v.

but no luck

am i doing something wrong? Also has anyone got it working in x51v (or wm5) rather than x50?

Since you copied the file directly to the device, it does not have the approval to run. Try disabling the security feature of WM5. Again, it's just my theory.

hey Patick, thanks but..

well I set security off and tried the Muitest before and after :

before:
security prompt comes up
display is not properly scaled (as in the article)

after: (i even tried a soft reset)
security prompt does not come up again.
display STILL NOT properly scaled.

damn. so the os is still not letting it access the mui files for some reason.

cube: 'the file cube cannot be opened. Either it is not signed by a trusted certificate or one of its componets cannot be found.reinstall or restore the file and ry again" - same as previously.

thanks for your help till now and id welcome any more suggestions :) .

hey anyone else tried atleast the mui thing on an x51v?

I believe it was unsucessful. Something about it being a program that you copied to the card instead of installing it with some new windows protection junk. Check out the stickie on the top of this game forum for X50v/51v optimized games.

Wow... I am surprised. That error message is just because you didn't download the data files from the other package. The optimized package includes only the EXE. There's nothing you have to do but simply download the rest of the game! It has nothing to do with any security stuff.

Granted, I'm not the brightest cube in the string . . . but that link didn't list windows mobile as one of the supported OS's

Cube runs on x51v. I own an x51v with WM5 and Cube runs on it. You have to download BOTH zip files, the OGL-ES (21mb) and OGL-ES optimized (200k or so)
