A sweet game that should be ported..

I was just staring at my endless collection of PC games and spotted one that would be sweet to play on our X50/51V's Rayman 2. Its a tad old but the controls wouldnt be to shabby and with enouth optomizing it should play like a charm on a slow little pda. (got around 50+ Fps on an old P2 266 with a 16mb banchee at 800X600) so with a little shrinkage and whatnot i wouldnt see it as impossible... sigh well a guy can wish.

If it's a DOS based game, it might already be possible. There are DOS emulators out there somewhere!

rayman 2 was windows... (directX 6,7 days...Before T&L) Kinda a direct 3d or glide game.. but with winmobile's direct 3d it might be dooable.

The PPC version Rayman Ultimate is ok but kinda booring gameplay compaired to the real rayman 2. Great side scrolling graphics though.

There are a lot of side and over head scrollers that need to be ported just because they would be awsome and have new life on a pda.. (look at Firepower = almost a neo geo clone)

That's actually a pretty damn good idea for a game port. It's been ported everywhere else BUT the PPC more or less.

If you're talking about The Great Escape, my sister has it on her PS2 and I've played it on the PC before. I agree it'd make a great i2700G accelerated game. :approve:
