i have a really old game called Sam & Max
how do i get it to work on my pocket pc useing pocket scummVM?
do i have to extract all my files from my cd
or is there another way? :crooked:

I haven't actually done it, but I think all you have to do is copy the CD contents onto your axim somewhere, and then ScummVM will let you play the game.

You wont be able to play the voice version, but if you extract the .000 and .001 files, then browse with pocketscumm, it will work.

If you copy the "monster.sou" file from the cd (with your *.000 and *.001 files) all the speech etc will work.....

The catch is, the monster.sou will be quite large (100mb+), The scummvm site has the tools necessary to compress the contents of the *.sou file to *.mp3.....which will roughly halve it's size......it's will still be large though.

I use the floppy versions of most of the lucasarts games, as they are much smaller......
