X51 and Toy Golf

I've installed Toy Golf on my X51, and every time I try to start it up, the little colorful box comes on screen and starts spinning, then the screen resets to landscape mode. I'm never able to play this game. I've tried uninstalling it and then re-installed it, but that doesn't work either. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

Do you have any large memory plugins running on your Today Screen? If so disable them. Are you using an application to actually close running programs or are you using the default minimize? If you aren't using a program to close the applications go into Start/Settings/System/Memory and switch to the running programs tab and select Stop All.

Probably the simplest thing to do is just disable your plugins, do a soft reset which will close any running programs and then try to run the game. All of these three-d games take a large amount of memory and resources to run.

Yup, tried all that and still no luck. Have any other ideas? I did not have any problems installing it to my CF card.

You might try to install it to main memory.

Same problem with mine. I believe the program needs the X51V to work.

can anyone share how they installed in main memory? I run toygolf setup off the CD then it says hotsync. When I hot synce I never get the promt window to install in default location "Yes or No". So I never get the opportunity to choose "No" and then install on mem card. Thanks.

Actually, you don't use the stylus for the game (except to quit). You use the keys.

The D pad controls the aim and power of the hit.

At the beginnig of each hole, the game circles the hole so you see what is coming. Press any key to start.

X51 here and have the same problem, Toy Golf crashes when you try to
run it. Even with everything else closed (or stopped).

I have the same problem. I think it does not work. However, I have seen QVGA pictures of Toy Golf online, so it must support QVGA. I wonder why it doesn't work.

I had the same problem. and here is what I did: install toy golf to the memory card, but for some reason it will actually install to the main memory. then go to the program files on the main memory then fathammer then toygolf. Usualy there would be toygolf.exe and toygolf_qvga.exe. run toygolf_qvga.exe it works but you cant use the stylus and it crashes alot and your scores keep reseting themselves but its still fun if you want a shortcut just rename toygolf_qvga to toygolf and the other to something else. hopelully this helps:)
