> It would be safe to assume that this is being ported from the Dreamcast version, which has very similar hardware to the x50v/x51v.

Sorry to pour water on your assumption, but the THPS2 port was directly taken from the desktop PC version.

I have already determined something to the contrary, if only a rumor.

I haven't gotten mine either. I've gotten 2 or 3 delays from Dell which confuses the heck out of me.

Anyone who actually HAS the game? I really want to know if it's as good as the Preview guy says :). If i'm going to spend 40+ bucks, i want some DANG quality stuff.

Although i do have to know how to get my hands on it, since it isn't available in Holland (yet?).

Yea, it looks like it would be very demanding since it is a port of the PC version...How well does it run on an x51v (Since I now have one :D)?

Yup, I was writing that on my x51v in a cabin up in the mountains...I love this thing, totally flawless so far! :D

Anyway, I just want to know if frameskip is used, and if so, how much, since I don't really like frameskipping very much.

So, I just finished reading through the thread. What is the bottom line? I have a X50 520mhz, can I play this on it, or do I need to have a VGA screen?? Thanks...

@ Swim100flyy,

Currently THPS 2 only supports devices with VGA screens and the Intel 2700g Media Accelerator.
Aspyr Media Inc., who ported THPS 2 to PPC, did promise a non-accelerated version, so cross your fingers for that version.

I don't know that they promised anything, but I was about to be entered into their beta program for it when it was determined I am too young for their NDA policies...I'm 16. Oh well, now I have an x51v, so I can play it no matter what! I love getting Christmas money, it means I can buy this! :D
