Question Nester

I am confused about what actual is pocket
nester. Can someone explain that. And is there a way to play games from gameboy color, gamboy advanced, or snes.

One for the thing, Is the controls on the dell axim really as bad as what people complani them to be??

Pocketnester is an emulator that can play nes roms. A nes rom is sort of an image of a nes game.

For gameboy, color, advanced or snes roms you will need a different emulator, but the Axim can't handle gba roms at normal speed, and snes roms will also not work very smoothly. I suggest you stick to nes or gameboy (color) roms.

I like the controls on the dell very much. I don't have any other pda to compare it to, but it plays very smoothly.:)

http://jetech.org/ for PocketNester

I don't know a good gb(c) emulator but you can find a big list of pocket pc emulators here: http://www.retrogames.com/pocketpc.html

Hope that helps

sorry probably not understanding you correctly .
pocket nester is only for playing NES games , not Snes Gameboy /GB colour/GBA /Virtual boy/game and watch etc...but it does a great job of this so we wont argue
theres an EMULATOR called YAMECE that plays GB &GBC games ...but its hard to find , and its hard to set the controls..
if you do a search for it at www.pocketmatrix.com you can find a link to a site that has it
PocketSnes Bleeding edge is arguably the best for snes games right now...you can find a link to it at www.pocketgamer.org in the emulators section...
MorphGear is very good at GB&GBcolour and even has some limited GB advance emulation....its available at www.morphgear.com

I think he made a typo, instead of: where can u find pocket nester of an emulator for gameboycolor games?
he probably ment: where can u find pocket nester oR an emulator for gameboycolor games?
Since the F is located near the R on a keyboard, I think he just pressed the wrong button ;)

For Gameboy color I have two good emulators that are free...

Yamece-Playes Gamboy, Gamboy Color, Nintendo, and i think Super Nintendo Roms but they are slow.
Gnuboy-Plays only Gameboy and Gameboycolor.

If you cant find them on the web Private message me ill send them to you.

sorry unstopable2012, they tend to look unkindly on questions regarding getting roms on the boards here...you should really only use roms of games you already own...googling is a good start to any search though...

I would suggest using the keywords "nes roms" on either Google or Yahoo.
