Serpa, the easiest thing to do (this is a trick i learned by experimenting) .. take the palm installer... rename it to a zip, and then extract

sync the palm files using the styletap installer and then move the ogg files to a card manually after..

I also found that it is better to do the edge files one by one via the ST installer... not sure if this is due to the size or not... but sometimes they dont all come over... I get maps over.. exit ST on the device.. repeat with others...

take a bit longer but i have had to do this many times during testing this :)

Finally got everything working off the CF card including sound. Runs farily fast! I'll have to turn the CPU down. The sound cuts when talking to the towns folk also. I should run off ram and see how it all does.

I have always had the sound cut off, it doesnt happen on palm so i suspect there is still some more styletap optimization to be done...

yeah, I usually throttle back my fps to 20, or set the cpu down to power saving in order to get in running at a slow enough speed

Seems like another pointer that the palm system is more effecient. When using the palm based styletap, the program screams. If it was to run under WM it probably would be half the speed. PS. I'd never own a palm anyway.

i dont know about that... I dont know if you really can conlude that the palm os is more efficient from this... the only way to say would be to have a wm version and compare.

When you compare palm to WM, different programs and what not(apples to oranges I know), the palms always seem fater at menus, loading, programs are smaller and the OS is typically smaller etc. In gerneral, I have no factual data except personal exp, it seems like the palms are just more effecient. The batteries last longer, and are fairly quick with 1/2 the mhz processers. Having said that, I'd never trade my x50v for any palm. I personally love WM for its ease and compatablity with Window, word, xcel, PPT, etc..

I have played the game on both Palm (tungten t3) and ppc (axim x50v), and I found that edge loads and runs faster on ppc, but it runs much more smoothly on my palm. I do wish the sound/music worked better though.

I'm liking this game a lot thus far. A couple little issues with the program, sure its the stlyle tap/edge not a ppc game thing. I'd buy it in its current state, but I'd have to add the price of style tap also which makes it pretty $$. Wonder if a PPC verson will come out? THis is what I was hoping Acient Evil would have been like insted of hidden door.

I am quite sure a ppc version will not come out. But look at what styletap is, its not an EDGE emulator, but a Palm OS emulator. You can do more than you think.
