Have you guys heard about the new RPG game that will come out tomorrow Oct 28, 2005 on the Palm system but you can play this game using the program called StyleTap (styletap allows your to run Palm programs on the PPC).

I am definitely going to try this game out. I am glad I have a Sony Clie as well as the PPC.

That looks really good. Is StyleTap free? Can I have a link to it? Can I use WM5 to run these?
(I hate having to ask about WM5 all the time. I look forward to not having to eventually.)

nope, styletap is a comercial app.. no idea about wm5 but you can try the demo and let us know (or you can send me your x51 and i'll test it )

Styletap is $30 and EDGE will be $25 (for the first 30 days). EDGE runs perfectly on the X50v (faster than my Tungsten T3 could run the game). I will post you a screen shot tomorrow of EDGE running in styletap, since it looks much diferent (not in landscape, just portrait 320x320). I think most gamers will enjoy this game alot. IMO, its the best RPG for any PDA that I have ever played. So, try the demo tomorrow!

How did you get a hold of that game already? It is not even Oct 28 yet, unless you are on the opposite side of the globe.

By the way, I wonder how well this would run on the Sony Clie TH55.

beta testers have had it for awhile and it is out! give it a try, you wont be dissapointed. It works great on the x50v and looks pretty darn nice in 480x480 also

You can view screenshots of EDGE on ppc, on a VGA screen in mypda.
The pics are taken in 66% mode, and 100$ mode. So go out and try it!

Well i installed the Demo.

It's a really nice game, much better then Ancient Evil. However it has one major issue for me. I have it installed on my 150x SD Card and the sound starts to cut out whenevevr I start talking to an NPC. I doubt that my SD card is really slow as i can play movies off of the card without a problem.

Also the game for some reason takes 3 minutes to exit.

I would advise not haveing the music on while playing, it has always had problems with getting cut off when doing anyting. Also, don't hit home on styletap to exit, exit through EDGE, its a little bit faster (I know its slow).

Another word of advice, don't let the game run in the background, it will run incredibly slow.

Thanks but to music in the game is really good. It would be a shame to turn it off. Perhaps a fix can be found?

The directory on your SD or CF card is something like /Palm/Programs/Launcher etc...

just stick it in the directory the readme tells you to.

How do I istall to the PPC? I installed styletap and loaded the edge installer by dragging into the stlyetap install box and hit install to device. It finishes, but the PPC (x50v) says
