Quick question on Astraware's Sudoku

I've started to play Astraware's Sudoku (I want to find the perfect Sudoku game for my PPC... hard work ), and there is an option that I can't find what it does. It's that little "N" on the right bottom, that when taped changes into a series of dots, and back to an "N" (you can see it on the attached print-screen).
Does anyone know what's the use of that option?
Thanks!

Hi Cerote

It's a toggle button for when you're using key entry. The little dots denote pencilmark entry whilst the N denotes number entry. If you're using a stylus to play, then this isn't needed. If you launch the game, select Start Puzzle and follow the Tutorial, it shows this in more detail.

Kind regards
Alison

Astraware has another site where you can get a soduko of the day puzzle - a different puzzle each day. Here is the link to the site. There's explanation of different techniques, too.

Thanks for the reply. As I always use the stylus to play I didn't see the need for that... turns out I was right
