Handango and HandMark Dropping the Ball

Paid $20 to Handango for HandMark Scrabble nine days ago - at the time the Handango site said I would receive the reg code from the software vendow "within two days."

Emails to both parties continue to go unanswered - as a matter of fact, Handango does not acttually have an email addy for "customer service," only one for "comments" that probably goes unattended - that should have been a clue.

I'm out $20 until I get the reg code.

Just a warning to anyone who trusts Handango when they take your money and tell you that a third party will handle actual product delivery.

Actually, Handago is a store.
They sell products for companies.
Some developers choose to give you the key themselves where most have Handango generate it for you upon puchase.
Handago is most likely not at fault here.
You are supposed to contact the developer since they chose to be the one to give you the key.

I understand how it works - Handango is like a "PayPal" for retailers - they advertise for them and handle the money transactions with the customers. For many products - Bejeweled, for example - though, Handango *does* provide reg codes directly to the customer at the point of sale.

Handango accepted my payment. You'd think they'd at least answer a simple email asking for help contacting a silent Handmark.

There is a freeware version of Scrabble called XWords, which is an EXCELLENT version of the game! :approve:

It has several dictionaries you can use with the game, so you can select the one which matches your skill level.

Hey, I never knew a "free" version of Scrabble existed. Thanks for the heads up!
