Prices

Why are most commercial games for PPC so expensive? I have seen some upards of $30-40. Heck considering these people have no manufacturing cost (ie putting them on cartriges or CDs), no distribution cost, small devlopment costs (most games are nothing more than ports of old PC games)... I find it hard to pay that kind of money. Im not willing to pay such prices just to have a medeocre game on my PPC. I would much rather spend the same price for a good Gameboy or PSP game. So why are so many games overpriced? Are there that many people out there willing to pay the high prices for these games?

I think, people buy less games on PPC, unlike Desktop or other console games. Thats why they had to charge more per game sold. Just my two cents.

There are tons of free or cheap games too. Regardless, if you find a game you get addicted to, it doesn't matter how much it costs. Do the free trials first and see if they're worth it.
