Try to remove and reload it. I had to do that w/another game to get it working again. Also, check the game's site to see if there's any updates.

Try to clean up your Start-Up directory. I had to kill some programs from starting up automatically, and then got Enigmo back running :)

On your device, open your file explorer, click open Windows and scroll down and you will see Startup folder.

Get SKTools, clean up your PPC and delete unused today-plugins.
But the startup thing is the most important thing u gotta take care of in my opinion.

Sounds like it may be a memory issue. How much free Program/Storage memory do you have?

it is working now. I dont know why.
How much time u guys use your ppc until you do a soft reset? Or you just dont soft reset it unless u are having problems.
One more thing, do you guys close the programs after you use them or let them run in teh background like the calc, ie, etC?
I usually close them using switcherbar after i finish using them.
WHat do u you guys think is better?

Howdy oilisab,
Soft resets are a healthy thing to do for your PDA. Basically, your PDA memory is like a hard drive. After a bit of usage, it becomes fragmented. There isn't any compaction utilities to unfragment this memory. After all, you can't easily move a program's data while it's executing. Think of soft resets as memory enemas.
If a program needs a large contigious chunk of memory, then it won't be able to allocate it. Even though you might have several megabytes of available RAM, it doesn't help since it's spread out in little chunks.
I recall Enigmo needs to grab screen sized memory for the backgrounds and such. That's about a 1.1 Megabyte chunk. (640x480x16bits) Other games require even larger chunks of contigious memory. So be prewarned!

Glad you got it sorted out :approve:
I usually don't do a soft reset unless I'm having problems. That said, I do beta test PPC software and usually end up doing several soft resets. It won't harm your PPC at all, so no worries there.
I normally close programs when I'm not using them. Otherwise my memory gets eaten up and programs won't run. My kids have a tendency to play a new game without closing the one they were playing. They'll bring the Ax to me because it won't work. I'll check running programs and find that they have 5 games open. Gee, no wonder it won't work -there is not enough memory free to run the game they want to play.
