Final Fantasy 3 Speed
I was wondering if anyone has been able to get final fantasy 3 to run full speed with music on an x50v with tala's openGL pocketsnes. If so, what settings do you have, when i use frameskip one with music, its really slow, and the music sounds like crap, but if i use autoframe skip, the music sounds pretty good, but the game is slightly jerky. So has anyone been able to get smooth music with smooth gameplay?

It's jerky b/c it's skipping frames on auto and w/o it you're getting the full frames with the slowdown. I'm afraid I can't help you out much, but I can tell you to have everything else off and run at max performance. See if you can set the music to a lower mixing rate (IE, 44khz > 11-22khz) in MONO.
I have an X30 312mhz model so I don't think mine is powerful enough to even run that. | |||
